Phreemuse is an art project that seeks to make visits to museums, exhibitions, and cultural events more accessible.
The project uses the form of a press document as a practical and symbolic tool: not as accreditation and not as a guarantee of entry, but as a way to enter cultural institutions not only as a visitor, but as a person who observes, records, and documents what is taking place.
By purchasing the file, you mark your presence in connection with the Around Art Archive — an open archive of cultural testimonies. This does not oblige you to publish any materials, but makes it possible to link personal presence, form, and archive into a single voluntary gesture of witnessing.
How the archive works and why it is open — below.
1. You choose a form
Phreemuse offers a personalized PDF designed in the visual language of a press document.
This is a voluntary artistic form, not an accreditation or a guarantee of entry.
2. You use it in practice
People use this form when visiting museums, exhibitions, and cultural events to observe, record, and document what is taking place.
Entry always depends on the institution.
3. You decide whether to engage further
Owning the form does not require any action.
If you wish, you may later connect your experience to the Around Art Archive.
